DryFrame Stainless Steel Film Drying Clips, 4-Pack
Give your film a secure place to hang during the drying stage with the serenoviq™ DryFrame Stainless Steel Film Drying Clips. Designed for analog photography and darkroom workflows, this reusable four-piece set combines brushed stainless steel clip bodies, spring steel tension coils, protective rubber grip pads, and integrated hanging loops.
The spring-loaded mechanism provides a firm grip for suspended film, while the rubber-covered contact points help reduce direct metal contact and minimize the risk of scratches or pressure marks when the clips are handled correctly. Each clip features a circular hanging loop for attachment to a suitable drying line.
Whether you are processing 35mm film at home or organizing a dedicated darkroom, DryFrame offers a practical, reusable solution for keeping your drying setup orderly and easy to manage.

02 / Materials & Construction
A Functional Combination of Materials
Stainless Steel Clip Body
The main body is constructed from stainless steel with a brushed satin finish. Stainless steel provides a rigid metal structure, good wear resistance, and corrosion resistance suitable for routine handling in a photography workspace. After contact with moisture or processing environments, dry the clips thoroughly before storage.
Spring Steel Tension Coil
A spring steel coil inside each clip supplies the mechanical tension that opens and closes the jaws. The spring mechanism supports repeated use and helps maintain a consistent clamping action during film drying.
Black Rubber Grip Pads
The jaw contact points are fitted with black rubber pads. These provide a softer interface between the clip and the film edge, helping improve grip while reducing the chance of direct metal contact. Keep the pads clean and free of grit before attaching them to film.
Integrated Metal Hanging Loop
Each clip has an integrated metal loop at the top for hanging from a compatible drying line. The loop makes the clip easier to position and remove without handling the film itself more than necessary.
Main body: Stainless steel, brushed finish.
Internal tension component: Spring steel coil.
Film contact surfaces: Black rubber grip pads.
Hanging feature: Integrated metal loop.
Finish: Brushed silver-tone metal with black rubber pads.

05 / How to Use
A Straightforward Film Drying Routine
Step 01 · Prepare the Drying Line
Set up a clean, stable drying line or rod in a suitable film-drying area. Ensure that the line can safely support the film and clips without slipping.
Step 02 · Attach the Clip
Use the integrated hanging loop to position the clip on the compatible line. Confirm that the clip hangs securely before attaching the film.
Step 03 · Grip the Film Edge
Open the spring-loaded jaws and position the rubber-padded contact surfaces on a suitable edge of the film. Release the handles gently and ensure that the film is held without excessive pressure.
Step 04 · Allow the Film to Dry
Leave sufficient clearance between hanging film strips to promote airflow and prevent them from touching one another or nearby surfaces during drying.
Step 05 · Remove and Store
Once the film is fully dry, support it carefully while releasing the clip. Wipe away any moisture from the clips and store them in a clean, dry location.
Care & Handling
Keep Your Darkroom Tools Ready
- Inspect the rubber grip pads before each use and remove any dust or grit.
- Avoid squeezing the film excessively or clamping across the image area.
- Dry the stainless steel bodies and spring mechanism thoroughly after exposure to moisture.
- Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive pads on the metal finish or rubber contact surfaces.
- Store the clips away from corrosive processing chemicals and excessive humidity.
- Keep fingers and loose materials clear of the spring-loaded jaws when opening and closing the clips.
